Polymicrobial Keratitis Caused by Multidrug-Resistant Corynebacterium amycolatum and Aspergillus flavus
We describe a patient whose cornea was infected by multidrug-resistant C. amycolatum together with Aspergillus flavus. A conjunctival flap placed before microbiological diagnosis concealed the course of the infection, and serial in vivo confocal microscopy (IVCM) recorded the cornea through the flap and after it retracted.
